Jake Wood
Owner/Lead Instructor
Jake is from Georgetown, Ontario and grew up playing for the Halton Hurricanes before moving on to play at prep school in the New England Prep League. Jake was drafted by the Lincoln Stars (USHL) 43rd overall, and played one season there. He then accepted a full scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NCAA Div. 1), playing four seasons and graduating with honours. After college, he went on to play two seasons in the ECHL. Jake is currently the Assistant Coach for the Brampton Steelheads (OHL). Previously, he was the former head scout in Canada for USHL Central Scouting, and has head coached top teams at the U15AAA and U16AAA levels for four years.
