Owner/Lead Instructor

Matt is originally from Minesing, Ontario. He grew up playing for Barrie Minor Hockey (OMHA), then moved to the Toronto Red Wings (GTHL) for his U15 and U16 seasons. After his U16 year, Matt played for Farjestad J18 (SWE) where he won the silver medal in the Swedish junior finals. He came back to Canada to play for the Stouffville Spirit (OJHL) for three years before accepting a full scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NCAA Div. 1). After graduating with honours, Matt played within the Minnesota Wild organization, dressing with the Iowa Wild (AHL) and the Quad City Mallards (ECHL). He returned to Europe and would spend the next eight years playing in Germany and Austria, winning the Austrian championship in 2019 with EC KAC (EBEL). He retired in 2022, finishing his career with the Vienna Capitals (EBEL).

Minor Hockey AAA (OMHA + GTHL) > Junior (SWE/OJHL) > College (NCAA-D1) > Pro (NA + EUR)
